The topic for Jenna's link up today is your favorite TV show, movies, or book series.
We actually cancelled our satellite service a few months ago to save a little bit of money for the summer. I say that, because I am well aware that once football starts back up, all bets are off. I can't say that I will argue too much. I don't think it'd truly feel like fall without the sound of football in the background! Until then, we stream in Netflix and Hulu Plus for our TV :) Here are my TV faves in no particular order:
-Downton Abbey. It took me a couple of episodes to catch on, but once I did, I loved it.
-Scandal. Olivia Pope. If you have seen this show, that is all that needs to be said. I cannot WAIT for October 3rd!
-Grey's Anatomy. I've watched it from the beginning and it is still one of my faves.
-Friends. Ross. Rachel. Monica. Chandler. Phoebe. Joey. Kelli... What? You don't act like you are their friends, too? I'm pretty sure if I had a Central Perk around me that it would be really bad for my coffee addiction as well as my bank account! I am a sucker for coffee shops that even somewhat resemble it!
-The Cosby Show. Bill Cosby is one of the funniest humans alive, in my opinion. One of my favorite episodes is the one where Vanessa makes Theo a shirt. Gives me the giggles just thinking about it!
While I love to read just about anything, I really love to read books that are in a series. Once again, here they are in no particular order:
-Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. She also wrote Redeeming Love, which is also one of my favorite books. I read this series a few years ago and have been wanting to read them again. They are that good!
-The Baxter Family Series by Karen Kingsbury. So many characters to fall in love with, that you can't help but read them all! A Christian fiction author that makes me want to grow closer to God.
Hunger Games, Twilight, Divergent. So, yeah. I obviously don't mind the teen fiction! You have to laugh when you go in the library to try to check out the books and there are bean bags in that section!
I know I am forgetting so many book series that I have read and will remember them all when I get into bed. Isn't that how it always goes? Do you watch any of the same TV shows? Or have you read any of those book series? Any recommendations?! Also, if you have a bible study that you did by yourself, I'd love to hear it, too! I'm always up for something new!!
