4 months old!

My sweet littlest boogie man,

You are 4 months old as of last Saturday. I absolutely cannot believe it. I feel like I should be anticipating your arrival. With that said, I have tried to imagine what it was like before you were here and I just can't. You have filled up our lives that much little man. You bright blue eyes with those dark eyelashes. That tiny little button nose. That sweet smile. You win me over daily! 

You started laughing this month and I do just about anything to try and get it out of you. Your brother, on the other hand, can do the same thing (but not near as energetic as I do) and you will just bust out. You are his biggest fan, that is for sure! You don't mind that he is in your face 24/7...unless you are eating. If he even talks to you during, you pull off and give the most pitiful, but yet adorable, frowny face I have ever seen!

You have become so vocal! You will talk and talk to your toys until you eventually start screaming at them, which is totally on track with what I am thinking your personality is going to be! HA!

You still roll over all the time from your tummy to your back. Thankfully, the dr said that he wasn't too concerned with you having tummy time anymore and that the exersaucer would provide you with plenty of neck exercise. I put you in it and you love it! 

While I was gone, you decided to make that your first time to roll over to your belly. You haven't done it since then (except when you grab onto my finger and pull yourself over), but you are trying so hard to do it. You are pretty much on your side most of the time when you are playing and straining to try to get over that arm. 

You have to be one of the smiliest (is that a word? Well, if not, it is now!) babies I have ever seen! You will stare someone down and instantly reward them with a big grin if they talk to you. You rarely get upset anymore, but when you do it's pretty easy to calm you down. A few sucks on the paci and some cuddles and you're good to go. Unless you are tired. Then you just need to sleep! 

Speaking of sleep, you are a WONDERFUL sleeper! I think you need more sleep than most babies this age, because you are still taking 3 naps and still sleeping all the way through the night. I was having trouble with you taking your naps, but I think it has worked itself out (although we all know that now that I have typed that, it will revert! HA!)

You are chewing on your hands all.the.time. The dr said your gums are getting hard, which I'm guessing means that teething is in our near future. I am SO not ready for you to lose that toothless smile! You are growing up too fast!

Little man, you have added so much joy to our lives and while I don't wish it to go fast, I look
forward to seeing what this next month brings. I love you the whole wide world and then some my sweet boy!!!
