35 weeks

Seriously?! I don't know how I can go out any further. And I sure don't know how I am going to drop any lower! I also know that I will look back at this in a few weeks and laugh that I just said that, because I know it will probably happen!

How Far Along: 35 weeks

Size of baby: pineapple (19 to 22 in, 4.9 lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 31 1/2 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Yes and some of those aren't covering up that belly!

Gender: BOY!!!

Movement: It has slowed down quite a bit, but I can still feel him doing the jig every once in a while. And the funny thing is that you can totally watch him do it too. My belly just bounces right along with him :)

Sleep: I have discovered a pillow to help hold that large belly up and it has been a game changer. You can totally see the imprint of my belly on it when I get up! There is no tossing and turning for me anymore. It takes a lot of effort to turn over to the other side!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.

Cravings: Nothing too notable.

Symptoms: Still continuing contractions. The funny thing is that they are worse when I am resting. Last Sunday I was thisclose to starting to time them to make sure I wasn't having 4 in an hr since I have to call the dr if that happens. It never got to that point, thankfully. Most aren't that painful, just uncomfortable. Some have woken me up in the middle of the night. You see, I never really experienced any of this with Connor! The few contractions I did have with him, I don't really remember. The only thing I remember is it getting to the point that I couldn't speak during them and the nurse encouraged me to go ahead and get the epidural, so I did. Obviously, they were painful if I couldn't speak... I just don't exactly remember how painful (ducking as all those that have had natural labors are throwing things at me!!!)

Best Moment this week: Getting some decor for his room. I am going to paint what I have bought tomorrow and after that I pretty much have to wait until he is here to frame pictures. I still have to decide where to put said pictures, but that won't take much time at all to put up. For someone who is NOT a procrastinator, I feel very anxious getting this done so late in the game!!!
