34 weeks

As I was getting the camera out, Connor noticed that I had the blue picture frame out and yelled, "PICTURE" because he knows that is what I am going to do. This time, though, he said, "Connor picture" and did this:
Goodness gracious, this child cracks me up!

Totally keeping it real in this week's picture. No makeup, just got done drying my hair look! And yes, my son is in the blue jeans diapers. He loves them and they were on sale at Big Lots!
I was looking at this blog the other day and the girl had a belly shot up of her at 34 weeks. I compared it to myself and was thinking that we were the same in size. Yeah, she was having twins! HAHAHAHA! I'd hate to see what I'd look like if I was actually carrying twins!

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Size of baby: pineapple (19 to 22 in, 4.9 lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 31 1/2 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Yes and some of those aren't covering up that belly!

Gender: BOY!!!

Movement: all.the.time! I can feel this little mover and shaker all the way at the top and very VERY bottom of my belly.

Sleep: I have discovered a pillow to help hold that large belly up and it has been a game changer. You can totally see the imprint of my belly on it when I get up! There is no tossing and turning for me anymore. It takes a lot of effort to turn over to the other side!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach. And iced coffee. Pioneer Woman's iced coffee, to be exact :)

Cravings: Nothing too notable. Doesn't mean I'm not eating more than I should, though! I would say that if I could get my hands on more fruit, I would. I am SO ready for summer and watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, etc. YUM!

Symptoms: I've had a few contractions here and there. I lost my mucus plug Saturday and I can honestly say I've felt a little different since then. The contractions (obviously braxton hicks at this point) and the crazy pressure in the birthing area being the main two. Oh, and that could be because Dr Norman said he has dropped! She could feel his head when she checked me, so hopefully he'll stay that way. We will check again at my next appointment, but I so hope he is head down! I'm going to be honest and say that I will be pretty sad if I have to have a c-section.

Best Moment this week: Washing all of his clothes and putting them away. As far and sleeping and clothing him goes, we are good! It was so much fun to see those little bitty clothes and see our favorites with Connor and know we are going to be able to enjoy them again!

I had two really crazy dreams last night. The first one was that I got up and once I got out of the shower realized that somehow had gotten JUST the middle of my ponytail wet (washed my hair last night so that I wouldn't have to do it before going to school) in the shower and it was curly and the rest of it was straight, so I had to take the time to straighten it and was late for school. The second one was that I kept putting off packing our bags for the hospital, so when the time came we had no bags packed and I had to call someone and have them pack for me. It was so hard for me to describe where everything was and I kept worrying I was forgetting something. We also just didn't think to call anyone and tell them that I was in labor, so no one was there for his birth.

So. I woke up this morning and got breakfast going before going to look in the mirror. Y'all. NO LIE, just the middle part of my ponytail was wavy!!!! That has NEVER happened! So apparently my dream was preparing me for what was going to happen. Needless to say, I might be packing my bags sooner than later.. HA! And, no, Mom I won't forget to call anyone. That is a part of the dream that we both know won't come true!
