Valentine's with my main man

Friday night Matt and I celebrated Valentine's Day by going to dinner at Bonefish Grill. That has been our tradition for the past 2 years, so this makes it 3! After we took this picture I told Matt that I would not be pregnant next Valentine's, but I might be the next..ha! That has been the trend so far! Then I quickly added that we would need to see how having two worked out for us :)

Matt called me as soon as he got off work Friday asking me what I was going to order. I think it is hilarious that he thought I had looked up the menu, because of course he had. That is his favorite topic of conversation...food! He literally talked for 15 minutes about what I had ordered the previous year. I couldn't remember and he could not understand why I wasn't concerned! I figured I'd document it this year so that it would be easy to come back and see so that I would know when he asks me next year.

One of the things I like about Bonefish is their good service. We only had to wait about 40 minutes for a table and you get your food so quickly. I guess it is because seafood doesn't take that long to cook. We got the calamari (because I will NEVER go to Bonefish and not get it), each got the house salad, Matt got Imperial Wolf fish and I got the Garlic crumb coated Haddock with garlic mashed potatoes. Mine originally had Feta cheese on it, but since my eggo is preggo, I had to forego. I think it would have added quite a bit to it. It was still good, but I can definitely see how the Feta would have added a little more flavor.

We skipped out on dessert and decided to go to Starbucks instead...until we got to the car and realized Matt had left the lights on...and it wouldn't start. Matt was a bit frustrated, which led me to laugh hysterically the whole time. I seriously had to make myself stop laughing because I thought I was going to crack a rib. He couldn't for the life of him figure out why I thought it was in the least bit funny! After about the 5 try, the car finally started and we were on our way. Since he was scared to turn it off, we had to opt for drive thru coffee and headed home. Despite the unfortunate car issues, we had a wonderful night out! Tomorrow we'll celebrate actual Valentine's day with our little man. Can't wait!

"Yay" for date nights and "Yay" for Bonefish, I love their BangBang Shrimp. By the way your baby belly is precious. Hope y'all are doing well.
