A Pinteresting Weekend :)

My weekend pretty much consisted of all things found off of Pinterest . If you haven't gotten on it yet (PAM!!!), then you should! It can be a time sucker, if you allow it to, but it can also be really good. This weekend everything I cooked came off of it, and we started the work on the nursery, which was definitely inspired from there!

I kicked it off by making these Buffalo Chicken Tacos Saturday afternoon for lunch. They were so good! I am going to admit to be quite biased, though, when it comes to how I feel about buffalo sauce right now!

Then on Saturday I went ahead and did everything but the last two steps for this Baked Chicken Parmesan meal for us to eat on Sunday after church. I hope to start doing this when I can, because it makes it so much easier to come home from church and be able to put it in the oven!

I mentioned that I have been trying to find a green to paint the walls in Cade's room. Well this pictures is the main inspiration for the room as far as colors go. I found something that is extremely close. I wish his room was a little bit of a deeper green like this one, but I'm still really excited about it.

We have also decided to add wainscoting to the room. We are kind of stuck between two different ideas. The first one is from the following picture. I am in love with this room, but the wainscoting is probably the only thing my husband would let me recreate! Plus, I'm not real sure I would want to try those stripes!

Here is what we had originally picked out and probably what we will end up going with. We already have all the measurements for it and know exactly what to get. I do think that it might be more formal, which makes me want to do the previous one now. Oh my. Welcome to my thought process as it is literally happening as I type!

So, as you can see Pinterest really did it for me this weekend! Now if it could just get up and pack mine and Connor's lunches for tomorrow ;)

I'm the same way with Pintrest! I have been getting so many recipes there. Also, it's been so helpful with the nursery. Can't wait to see pictures when you are finished!

I love the green for Cade's nursery! Very sweet, but still boyish too. Let me know if I can help with any creations! Can't wait to see it:)
