Wednesday Loves

So yesterday slipped by me. And honestly, I didn't have much to say. Besides ANOTHER trip to Home Depot and sanding, sanding, and more sanding, we didn't do much!

-I'm loving some of the things I have pinned on Pinterest lately. One of the key things I have been looking at is clothes. I am mildly obsessed with what I am going to wear in our pictures in October. I just really want to like what I am wearing and not settle for something that is "ok". I really want some tall boots. I wanted some last year and I should have just bought them then! It doesn't help that I have..ahem..expensive taste. Take these, for example:

They are only $250. What in the world? I do love them, but not that much!

I love this cute little fine motor skills book that would be perfect for church. I am actually making one now that has a lot of magnets on it, so I am probably going to make this one next.




I'm loving all of the wonderful dessert recipes I have found. You really can't get on there if you are hungry.. it's like going to the grocery store, but worse. Our family is getting together this weekend for Labor Day and I am bringing dessert. I know one of them is going to be Key Lime Pie, but I can't decide what the other one should be. I am struggling between the Oreo cupcakes

or the Chocolate Chip cheesecake bars

-I'm loving Connor's new thing of running to you and basically tackling you. The best part, though, is his face.

I realize he is mine and I am VERY partial, but who wouldn't love that face?!


-I'm LOVING that it is football season!!!!!!!!! Connor has started asking to watch football as much as he does golf, which makes me happy. He has learned to do the "touchdown" symbol everytime he hears the word, which of course I think is adorable.

-I'm loving how "into" clothes and shoes Connor is these days. As you can see in the picture above, he is in a size 4-7 shirt (hence the reason it looks like a dress). But if he finds something he wants "awn" (his very country version of "on") there is no convincing him of anything else. We go through 2 or 3 pairs of shoes a day as well as shirts.

-I'm loving our plans this weekend. MiMi is coming, we are kicking off the football season at Rach and KJ's house, and a big family bash for Labor Day. And most importantly, Matt has off on Monday!
