Saturday Morning scene

I'm linking up with Katie for Saturday Morning Scene this morning.

If you read my post about Connor's 1st Birthday Party , then you know that he was not a fan of the adorable hat I bought him for his party. I, as most moms do, had this vision of the adorable picture we would get with him in it. He had been ok with wearing hats his entire life, so I didn't think this would be any different. I was wrong. However, as soon as his party was over he went back to being ok with things being on his head. Hmm.. stubborn, much?! Anyway, I had saved the hat just to have in his room for a while so that I could feel like I got my money's worth, but recently decided that there was no reason I couldn't get that adorable shot I had envisioned in my head. So, without further adieu, I present to you my vision:

So, even though he is 14 months old and I will always know that these weren't taken on his birthday, I'm still glad I did it. They will forever make me smile (and probably cry!) and isn't that why we take pictures anyway?!
