Getting so anxious

I was trying really, REALLY hard to not become anxious, but I am. I am so ready for Connor to be here and it doesn't help that EVERYONE I come in contact with acts like they need to call 911 to transport me to the hospital. ha. They should see me try to get out of bed!
Matt woke up in the middle of the night (after one of my 5782975 trips to the bathroom) the other night and gave me a kiss on my back and said "Thank you."
"For what?" I asked.
"Just for going through what you are having to go through to carry our son."
Be still my heart. Thank you God for sending me this man to be my husband and the father of my children.
I had a teacher today tell me we needed to take some maternity pictures (just found out today that she takes pictures on the side). Little does she know that if my doctor didn't absolutely have to look at my belly to get the heartbeat then no one would be seeing this thing bare! I say this for two reasons:
1) Old belly button piercing. It has turned into a nasty bright red scar and is quite scary to look at. I really should take a picture of it so that if I have a daughter and she wants to get her belly button pierced I can show her the picture, causing her to cry and run the other way. If anyone out there has this problem with their daughter, let me know. I can be of service.
2) Those pretty little things called strectch marks. I was SO proud at week 34 when I didn't have one on my belly. Then I woke up one morning during week 35 and there they were. They were taunting me. If there is anything good from it, they are on the bottom part, so maybe they will fade. Pam said her's did.. HERE HERE for hope!
Off to cook supper with the Mr... hope everyone has a great night!

Dont' let the stretch marks worry you. We will all be there soon.

And 2, your husband is such a sweet man for saying that! Thanks for sharing!

ok so I can TOTALLY relate to every single thing you just said in your post- i feel like it was de ja vu! Austin said the exact same thing(so sweet) and the exact same thing happened with the strech marks at about 34 weeks for me also. And they will fade and some will go away. I can barely see mine now and they seem to keep getting better with time! It's so worth it and when i look at them even though i hate them i think "he was worth every single one" so they won't bother you as much as you think when he gets here. Good luck and I know you are getting so anxious-i can't wait to see pictures of your sweet little boy!
