DIY Football Onesie

Did you see the giveaway that I posted yesterday? If not, be sure and check it out!

It's MOOOOOOONDAY! Did y'all have a good weekend? We did, but man, it was some kind of busy! Fun, but busy! Lots to update you on!

First, things first. Linking up with AP @ ILYMTC for

I don't remember when I first saw this pin, but I'm pretty sure it was before we knew Cade was in fact, Cade :). I'm thinking that I pinned it because I just knew that I was having another baby boy. And if you know my little family at all, you will know that football is a big part of it. So, you can see why I pinned it, huh?!

I originally thought that I would just do it as a photo opp. Then when my thoughts started venturing towards halloween costumes in August September, I knew this is what I wanted them to be! We ordered Connor's outfit from Target (Target has college football uniforms for toddlers) and just made Cade's onesie. He already had a brown onesie, so I just stopped by Joann's and picked up a sheet of felt. I picked up a piece that had a sticky back to help it stick to the onesie before I sewed it on.

The sewing took a little bit longer than I had anticipated, but it is somewhat hard to maneuver inside of a tiny onesie!

I cannot wait to put them in it! Since Connor is in love with his uniform, I don't think I'll have any trouble getting him to participate in a little photo shoot :)

This is pretty low key for me as far as Halloween costumes go, but these are 100% Matt approved, so I guess this will be "his" Halloween. HA!
