37 weeks

And a front view for something different :)
How Far Along: 37 weeks. 3 weeks sounds like a long time, but 21 days sounds like nothing!

Size of baby: watermelon (19 to 22 inches, 6.5 lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 37 1/2 lbs. 3 lbs in one week.. EEK! It's all that baking and sweets we have had lately!

Maternity Clothes: Yes and some of those aren't covering up that belly!

Gender: BOY!!!

Movement: Dude has kicked it up a notch lately in the viewing him move around department. I videoed it last night and wasn't going to share it on the blog, but it's too crazy not to. Please excuse the stretch marks, but honestly my skin didn't stand a chance. HA! Maybe this will give you a little insight into the craziness that goes on in my belly daily. I will so miss that, though!!!

Are y'all officially freaked out?! I think it is his knee. The video cut out on me because I ran out of storage space, but at one point there were two little knobs rolling around, which I'm guessing would be both knees'??? I have no idea!

Sleep: Not too bad now that my coughing escapades have died down.

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.

Cravings: Nothing too notable.

Symptoms: Still feeling good. I don't think people believe me when I say that, but I truly do. The only thing that is tired the most is my thighs! Oh, and just about everything causes heartburn. And the pressure of his head :)

Best Moment this week: One day this week we had a playdate at Angie's house. Connor was in the other room and I asked Sophie if she wanted to feel Cade's hiccups (he seriously has them 3 or 4 times a day!). Connor hightailed it in the room saying "Connor do it!". I have no idea how he knew what I was talking about, but he just heard his little brother's name and wanted to be involved! Oh, I can't wait to see the relationship they develop!

DR update: Nothing had changed. Still 1 cm and not sure about the effacement. I was measuring 39 weeks at 36 weeks 4 days, so the nurse (dr was on vacay) scheduled an ultrasound for Monday to check his weight. I guess they are thinking that if he is pretty big they will induce early. I would prefer to not be induced, but completely trust them as well. I definitely don't want to go into labor and end up having to have an emergency c-section because I am trying to birth a 3 month old or anything ;) I think that he will be pretty normal. I measured ahead with Connor, too and he ended up being 8.6 lbs. I just get a big belly!

And here is a comparison of my two boys. As you can see I was definitely bigger with Connor in an all over kind of way. Cade looks like he has his bootie sticking straight out!
