WILW

Seriously? I think this week flew by even faster than last week! STOP IT, TIME! As I do on almost every Wednesday, I am linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday.

-I'm loving the backpack I have picked out for Connor for MDO. After going back and forth in my head, I have finally decided this is the one. (I love how I make it such a monumental decision in his life. Ridiculous? Yes. But at least I know it.It's a wonder Matt puts up with me!)

All along I thought I would just do his name in navy blue to keep it simple so that I wouldn't tire of any type of design. THEN, I came across this site. Oh the options. They aren't good for my indecisive mind! This is where you lovely people in my life need to help me. Matt will thank you, I'm sure.

First we have the transportation themes:

the airplane would probably be done in a navy blue

Then we have the sports theme:

And then probably my favorite....

With the house a navy blue, it would match his nap mat! I am all about matching! What do y'all think?!?!?!?!

-I'm loving my pinterest finds this week:

I already know I am going to have a hard time throwing away anything Connor brings home from school. This smart woman took a picture of everything and made a collage!!! How cute is this?!

I am already worrying about what I am going to send him to school to eat. You see, some days I feel like he eats a lot more than the average 17 month old. The other night we were needing something quick and got a pizza. Little man threw down 2 whole slices. That is how much I ate! Anyway, this website has some ideas, which I am all about. They have to be able to feed themselves, too, so I'm afraid I'll run out of ideas fast.

I am also looking for some containers. I figured I just need to go to BRU and they would have plenty of options.

We currently don't have a headboard in our bedroom. I really want one because I know it will spruce the room up a bit. While looking, I came across this bed. One, you can make it yourself. They have a great tutorial. Two, just look at the storage!!! I would probably put drawers or at least little doors of some kind because I don't deal with open spaces. What is the point of storage if it has to look neat?

-Connor and I both are loving the new shoes my brother sent him. He got him these Nikes and an adorable pair of Ralph Lauren boat shoes. Connor is obsessed with both. Wants to put them on every day and doesn't want to take them off. Hilarious!

He walks around looking at his feet when he wears them. Too cute!

-I'm loving my sweet boy. He talks to me ALL the time and, of course, I don't have a clue what he is saying. My heart just about melts every time he does it, too! Here he is saying something to be the other day about Veggie Tales.

I mean, seriously? I don't stand a chance with that sweet face asking me something!

Before I go, I have to share a sweet story. Last night Matt and I both had plans, so Connor went with his BeBe to her football game. I was a little worried how he would be, but she said he sat still the entire game and said football at least 65,000 times. I was so glad! When I got up to the stands to pick him up, he was so excited to see me. He gave me a hug, patted and rubbed my back and then instantly pulled back and let off a string of sentences. All while looking me right in my eyes. Sweet thing was telling me about his night! By the time we got home he was out and he stayed out while I changed his clothes and diaper. At the very end, in his sleep, he started clapping. I couldn't help it.. I started laughing. I guess he was dreaming about the football game! Of course, that woke him up, but he just smiled at me and patted my face. I picked him up to head towards the rocking chair and he about jumped out of my arms to go to his crib. I laid him down, covered him up and he promptly rolled over with his booty in the air. I left his room with tears in my eyes of just pure love for that sweet angel. He had given me a heck of a day, but in the end none of it matters. Of course, by the time I got to the room I realized I hadn't turned on his sound machine, so I had to go back in there. It woke him up and he stood up smiling at me. I laid him back down and told him night night and he gave me the HUGE frown face that will just about break the toughest person down. I leaned over to give him a kiss and he puckered his little lips up and smiled at me afterwards. Talk about melting!!!!

Sorry to share such a long story, but I didn't want to forget a single second of it! I hope y'all have a great Wednesday!!! ( I guess I should also record that it is 8:50 and he is still asleep!!!!!!!! Never once in his little life has he slept past 7:30)

I like the puppy, but I like the football, too. At least with the football, you know he's not going to grow out of it in a few years (I mean, because we just KNOW he's going to LOVE football!). :) And I'm so glad you posted that food list! I've been stressing over what to send as well, and that is super helpful!
