This is the way you brush your teeth

There aren't many things Connor doesn't like regularly, but brushing his teeth is one of the things he doesn't. Unless you let him do it himself. Then he is all game for it. Especially when he sees me doing it.

He goes back and forth and does some serious concentrating

for about 2 seconds

and then he is done and SO proud of himself.

And it's pretty hard to tell this face that, in fact, he isn't done!

If brushing doesn't get better, I can only imagine how flossing is going to go!

I was going to do a post about this asking for advice. We are really struggling with our Connor. He wants nothing to do with brushing his teeth and we basically have to fight him to get it done. If we let him have the toothbrush, he's good; but past that, it's impossible. I asked a dentist for advice and she said that I need to find a currency that works for motivating him (she suggested stickers), but I can't find anything will work. Let me know if you find the solution!!

yep, William hates it too. I have to hold him down while screaming. I figure better mommy holding him down than a dentist when he has a cavity, though! He'll get over it someday. :-)
