My idea of a wonderful Sunday!

Yesterday was one of those days that I will store away as one of my favorites with our little family. After church and lunch we came home and put our sacked out little man in the bed and Matt and I went outside to soak up some rays. We blew up Connor's pool and filled it up to try to get it warmer before he got up. It was nice to get to spend some time together without any distractions (read: TV, internet...didn't mean for that to sound like I was talking about Connor!). After Connor woke up, he was VERY excited to hear me say that we were going to go swimming with Daddy. We had the pool, his little lawn mower, and the new batting tee that mom got him ready for him to play. He would get in the pool, climb out to go hit the ball of the tee, then climb back in. Every once in a while, he would pause to give his Daddy a kiss

(half way there :) He is getting MUCH better at sharing his kisses again..even with me!!)

Before we went in I decided to turn on the water hose to let him play in it. I kind of thought he would like it, but wasn't sure. I was wrong... he LOVED it!

He was so amazed at all of the water and how if you put your hand in it, it would go different ways.

We have been just throwing him in the shower with us after a long day of being outside, so he has gotten used to water coming down over his head.

So much so, that after his daddy showed him he could do that he tried to do it on his own.

And while he couldn't hold it up high enough for it to go above his head,

he was able to spray it directly in his face
The look of shock that followed it was hilarious!

I'm so glad summer is here so we can have these types of days more often!
