Every other Sunday evening our church meets in life groups (other churches call them small groups, I think) instead of meeting at the building. Well tonight ours had an Easter egg hunt. Since we pretty much missed the last one, I was excited to see if Connor would catch on once seeing all of the other kids.
He started off really well. Walking around picking up eggs. He never would hold the basket, though. And once he got about 7 eggs, he stopped adding more and was more than happy to just stay in one spot playing with them (read: throwing them out of his basket and putting them back in)
This picture. Oh this picture is what makes my world go round. I love to see the joy just seep out of him for.. well.. almost everything.
I had to get a picture of Claire and Connor together. He just loves her and it's so cute to see them together. Unfortunately she is the sweet little girl he bit a few months back, but she seems to have forgiven him :)
This picture cracks me up! She knows how my little man can be a swiper. Not becuase he wants to have them himself, he just wants to throw them. (I mean as soon as she got there he batted her box of chicken nuggets out of her hands. She looked at me like "what in the world just happened?!" ha)
And then sweet Emma came over and wanted her picture taken with Connor. She was ready for me. And then she made this adorable face like, "Am I doing this right?".
I just love kids!!! You never know what they are going to do and I love that about them (well.. most days ;) )
I also love fellowship time with our life group. I feel like it is an extremely small glimpse into what Heaven is going to be like. I can't wait!
I'm adding this video of Connor "hunting" easter eggs because my mom requested it. It is for sure something only grandmas will enjoy and the camerwork is AWFUL!
