He's the dancing queen king!

My baby boy has moves. It doesn't matter what it is, if it remotely sounds like music, those hips start moving. The other day I had my iPod on shuffle and a Third Day song came on. And he bolted into the kitchen and started dancing in front of the iPod. It was hilarious! I tried to recreate the scene Saturday and while he wasn't near as enthused as he was last week, it is still pretty cute.

WARNING: This is a long video, but I didn't want to cut it short so my family could see how much more vocal he has become since Christmas :)

This month has become the month of growth for him (physically and mentally) as he has started doing new things daily! It absolutely amazes me at how they can seriously change overnight. God is SO good!

I forgot to post my verse for the Siesta Scripture Memory Team on the 15th. This month I chose

Deuteronomy 6:5-7
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give to you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

I chose this as a reminder to myself to always be a Christian example for Connor. I can already tell that he is starting to pick up on things we are saying and doing and I don't ever for a minute want to think that I have done something that could affect his walk with Christ. Now, I know that, as a human that is constantly making mistakes, I won't always choose to do the right thing, but I know if I have this verse embedded in my brain that it will help!

I hope everyone takes a little time out of their day today and dances to the music :)
