Christmas with the Kegley's

I am about a week behind in blogging, but don't want to forget these special times, so bear with me!

Last Sunday we celebrated Christmas at Matt's dad's house. It is very rare for all of us "kids" to be there at the same time, so we had a great time! Connor did great, considering he was up way past his bedtime and had a terrible cough and runny nose. Brent was our photographer and did great, so I will let the pictures do most of the talking.

We started with Connor's gifts first. He got some great things! Once again, he was really cute with each toy. He knew they were for him!

He loved this box. He spent the next few days climbing on and off that box. He even fussed when I took it away to you know.. throw it away!

Matt and I got some great things, too! I joined the watch club and got one of these:

and I LOVE it! Connor does too and he is constantly playing with it when I wear it. We got some gift certificates to Maggiano's and the movies. Date night here we come!!! Rachel, April and I got a gift certificate for cake decorating classes at Sweet Wise in Nashville! I'm so excited to go and spend some good sister-in-law time with them :) And it wouldn't be Christmas with the Kegley's if I didn't get some sort of book (from one book lover to the other.. right, Becky?!). This year I got a book of inspirational stories about being a mom and the new Karen Kingsbury book. I have been itching to start reading a new book, so I can't wait to get started. April had just gotten back from Honduras, so she brought us her presents yesterday. She did such a good job! She got us

The Cosby Show, seasons 1-3, the adorable family ornament and coffee from Honduras! I can't wait to start from the beginning with The Cosby's. I just love that show!

What a blessing it is to have such a large family! I love them all and count my blessings to have married into them!

Next up is our visit to Opryland Hotel!
