Party in my crib, yo.

Calling all babies! Connor is hosting a party in his crib daily from 9am - 10am and 12pm -2 pm. Come only if you are ready to party like it's 1999. No sleeping allowed!

Requirements:

It's preferred that you stand at every corner of the bed at least once throughout the time period. Feel free to rotate to see which one you like the best. His favorite is the corner facing the door.

You need to try your best to stay awake and scream pretty loud, but feel free to rest your head if needed.

If that picture doesn't say "I'm fighting sleep" ,then I don't know what does.

If you feel like you haven't gotten any good workouts in, you could try to do chin ups on the back of the crib like he does.

Look right at the camera and make pitiful faces as frequently as possible.

I have decided Connor's theme song is Maniac. After he found out he could stand up in his crib, it was over. He didn't nap for 3 days and even started waking up in the middle of the night. The back of his crib is like a sleigh bed as it curves backwards. He loves to walk (holding the side of the crib of course) or crawl over there and hold on to the top of it and try to pull himself up. Of course, he goes nowhere, but what in the world?! I guess I'm going to have to lower the mattress again. I have no doubt he will be one of those children that climbs out of his bed. At this rate he'll be in a toddler bed by the time he is 1. What a mess!

Thankfully, he's quit waking up at night. I think it is because he has figured out how to get down easily. He's even back to taking naps. (which is a good thing because I might have resorted to putting him in his halloween outfit to get him to stay still so he would sleep... JK JK)

I will say it is so cute to walk in and see him smiling and laughing at me. I decided to take a picture of him on Saturday and, needless to say, he wasn't too thrilled with my decision!

I love that pitiful little pouty face!

Oh, my! Those pics. are hilarious! I guess William's extra poundage is preventing him from that much activity. I can only imagine what he'll be into when he gets that mobile! I love it! Missed the little sweetie in class tonight. Sophie wanted to draw a pic. for him today and bring it to church. She just loves him! :-)
