Pumpkin Patch

When I found out we were going to have a baby I immediately started dreaming of all the things I wanted to do. Go to the zoo, go see Santa, go to the pumpkin patch, etc. This weekend I got to fulfill one of those dreams and go to the pumpkin patch. We were staying at Pam's house so Saturday morning we headed to Gentry's Farm. With camera in hand and possibly the best dressed baby there on the hip, we were ready to go!

I was hoping they would have a little set up for pictures and they didn't disappoint! It was so cute. I wish I would have taken a picture of the whole thing. Basically it was this old truck that had hay filling the back of the truck to the very top. They had made a barrier down the middle so that you could take pictures on both sides (GENIUS!). It was decorated so cute, but there was no way I was going to sit Connor on top of that truck and walk away! So Pam took the picture for us while Matt and I stood on either side ready to catch him in case he tried to make a crawl for it ;)
He was not so sure about this hay stuff.
What is this big orange thing?

Could not get him to pay attention for anything! He wanted to be running around and playing with all of the other kids!

After the photo op we headed to the tent full of the big pumpkins, gourds and small pumpkins to get some pictures with those. I LOVE how these turned out.

This is the best I could do with getting a smile out of him. There was way too much going on for him to pay attention to his crazy momma making noises at him from behind the camera.

Sweet boy.

I can't believe he stood up by himself. And he was pretty stable, too! Of course, Gammie was on one side and Daddy was on the other, just in case :) Oh and notice the shoelaces? Yeah. That is his favorite thing to do AS SOON as I get them re-tied.

We decided to get him two medium sized pumpkins even though we didn't decorate outside this year. I can't have him not having any pumpkins outside for Halloween, can I? I'm thinking I see a pumpkin painting project in our future ;) I think he might just be the cutest pumpkin in the whole patch, though!

It looks like he has his hand on his hip! haha

I just love making memories with our little family!
