Ahhhh October.

October, you totally rocked it today. You were a little chilly in the shade, but in the sunshine? Divine. You also allow me to put my little man in these oh so adorable halloween pj's.

We woke up this morning and got ready to go meet Billy and Becky at their campsite for a late breakfast. The first thing I thought about before I went to bed last night was what I was going to put Connor in and while it definitely made him look like a big boy, I still loved it.

We had a huge breakfast spread of steak, eggs, hashbrowns and bacon, so while Matt, Kyle and Billy cooked, Libby, Becky, Connor and I sat off to the side and enjoyed the sunshine. We didn't get to stay very long because Matt is very particular about where he watches the Vols play and the campsite with a 13" TV isn't one of them. haha

We spent the rest of the day just lounging around watching the Vols win, then lose (talk about a huge wave of emotions going on in the house!) and watching Connor rock back and forth on his hands and knees. Kyle got down on the floor in front of him and was cheering him on (he kept yelling "Pull it through") and it really seemed like Connor knew exactly why Kyle was cheering. He must have because he crawled forwards 2 to 3 times! He never would go back to full scooting, so I have a feeling it is going to be any day now that he gets the hang of it. It was seriously the most precious thing in the entire world to see him figure out how to do it. It makes me want to cry thinking about it. God is just so good! I'm so glad Matt was here to see it too! It's just that much better when you get to share it with others! We tried to videotape it, but of course it never happened again. I might just walk around with it in my back pocket for the next few days :)
