It's finally here! We made a quick trip to WalMart this morning and it was a lovely 61 degrees outside! 61 is almost too chilly for my taste, but I take it over near 100 temps any day. Speaking of WalMart, I never shop there. It never fails that I leave spending more than what I planned. How does that happen?! My e-mealz account is set up for WalMart, so that is why I went today. It said I should spend $45. I spent $82! Granted, I bought a few extras, but I didn't think it was $40 worth! I guess I'll just stick to Kroger. Their 10/$10 deals never fail me :) But, you know what I did find at WalMart that I can't find at Kroger until close to Thanksgiving????
That's right, folks. PUMPKIN! I LOOOOOVE anything that has pumpkin in it. I picked up a bag of chocolate chips as well, because I might just get a wild hair and make a batch of pumpkin bread
tomorrow one day soon.
Before we found out we were having a boy, I would frequently visit TJ Maxx store and look at their baby section. If we were having a boy, I knew exactly what I was going to get. After finding out, I quickly went and picked up this outfit.
The only problem was that I had the sizing for clothes ALL wrong! I bought it in 6 month thinking that meant 6-9 month. In fact, I didn't find out until after my showers were over and had about a week left in my pregnancy! haha.. at least I found out, though! I kept wondering why in the world people were buying him summer clothes for Oct, Nov and Dec! I'm just glad it has been a little more chilly so that he could wear it at least once. He probably won't be able to wear it again, because it was a little tight and a little too short :)
I told my mom about 2 weeks ago that I was going to put up a video of Connor scooting and I have yet to do it. The first video was the day after his 6 month birthday. The 2nd video was just 6 days later. He is now getting up on his knees some, but doesn't quite have the strength to move his arms forward while in that position. I have to say.. I was scooting across the floor with him yesterday and it is hard work! No wonder I hear his little grunts all day long!
