So blessed

What a busy week! We were so blessed to get to spend a lot of time with our families. It was so nice to have mom here to go shopping with. Usually I have to go by myself! We finalized the plans for the decor of the nursery, so I am SOOOO excited to get that done!

Connor was shown some major love at Christmas this year, so Matt and I decided to make a video showing him just how excited his family members are for him to be here. I hope he will enjoy watching that video one day :). Christmas day was actually his 29th week birthday. By the end of this week he will be the size of a large butternut squash, weighing in at about 3.1 lbs and 17 inches in length. This week it is in with the new (brain cells, red blood cells) and out with the old (lanugo hair).

I can't imagine what it is going to be like next year when he is actually here to open his own gifts!

I am going to do separate posts about each Christmas with each family throughout the week, but I wanted to go ahead and show you what Matt and I got each other (besides a little 2.5 lb baby still growing!)

A NEW RECLINER! (PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, ignore the mess around the new recliner!) It looks like just a regular recliner, but wait for it...

IT HAS HIDDEN COMPARTMENTS IN THE ARM RESTS! You better believe the first thing I did was put goodies in those cubbies! The right one holds the chords to everything that has to be plugged into the computer (cameras, webcam, etc) and has a coffee cup holder. The left armrest holds the remotes and has a large cup holder for a regular glass. It also has a vibrating seat and a cooler in the left armrest (see pic below). Once I saw that, I knew I had to get it. Any FRIENDS fan knows you can't pass a recliner like that up ;)
