Show Us Your Life- Pets

This week at Kelly's Korner is showcasing our pets! Well, let me start off by giving a little background about Snuggles. My brother and I got her for Christmas in 2000. She was only 2 months old and the cutest little furball you ever did see. She is a full blooded Maltese and weighs, at the most, 6 1/2 lbs. One thing I love about Snuggles is she has a few quirks about her. A few of them are the following:

-She LOVES to sit on the back of a chair or couch. She likes to be up high and feel in charge.

-She HAS to be looking out of a window. If you have blinds that cover the window, she will bite through them and break them so she can see out!

-She HATES to be in a different room than you. When she was little we put her in the laundry room while we had Thanksgiving (there were a TON of people there and she was getting stepped on) and she crawled underneath the door just to get out! We had one of those sliding doors that had a crack at the bottom that was maybe 5 inches tall. She had to lay completely flat to squeeze out!

Now on to Snuggles life since she has come to live with Matt and I. We picked her up from Mom the day we got back from our honeymoon and she has been our baby ever since! Here are a few snapshots from the past 2 years. With her "new" mom and dad Snuggles:

tends to get in trouble when caught flirting with the boys. This was one afternoon when Matt caught her rompin it up with two different dogs!

has learned to love to read like her momma!



has decided that she deserves to drink milk out of the glass like her daddy!

gets away from it all by going under the bed.


has claimed this box as "her" spot while I am cooking.
loves to lay like a human.

misses her daddy so much during the day that she climbs on anything that smells like him!

and lastly she has become oh so hip!

Snuggles is the best dog in the world and so glad that Santa ;) brought her to me 9 years ago!!! We love you Snuggle Bug!
