Where did July go????

I can't believe I didn't even blog ONCE in July! Well August is going to be like starting a new year with new resolutions for blogging. I am going to try to blog much more often, because I have noticed I really enjoy going back and looking at what we were doing a month ago. Yes, I forget what I have done a month ago. There is no hope for my memory. Since July was an incredibly busy month for us, I am not going to try to rehash all of it and bore you all to death. We were out of town 3 out of the 4 weekends, so there would be a lot to write! I am just going to start with August. :)

We started this month off with a bang and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I had to take a picture of our food because it is a sin for two people to have this much food on one table. As you can see, Matt was not going to wait on me to take the picture to dig in!

After Cracker Barrel we went car shopping and boy was it exhausting. I really don't care what we get as long as it runs and it doesn't look like it might fall apart going over 50 mph. We started off by going to look at a Surburban and it is HUGE. I sat in the front and looked in the back and felt like I was driving the Jon and Kate plus 8 van. .it kept going and going and going. Matt of course LOVED it because he felt like the big man on the road. We also found a Pathfinder which is going on auction this Wednesday, and is probably what we will end up getting.

Today is sweet Layla's 1st birthday, so I wanted to make it blogger official and wish her a very happy birthday! She absolutely lights up my heart when I am around her and I can't wait to celebrate her birthday on Saturday! We love you, Layla!
