Are you a big boy?

Sunday morning when I was changing Connor's overnight diaper I made notice of the fact that it wasn't very full. I said, "Connor. You didn't pee pee very much last night. You are such a big boy!" He promptly said, "A big boy!" I had Unlce Kyle there as my proof and we were both shocked at how clear it was! Well the next day (yesterday) I asked him if he was a big boy or a baby? He started responding baby and then just laugh and laugh. Then I quit giving him the option of baby thinking he would just repeat what I had said. Oh, no. Enter in one of my most favorite interactions with him thus far:

Gosh, this just proves that he is a big boy! I am loving all of the extra interaction I have with him now and I find my heart just soaring more and more every day!

Yesterday afternoon I blew up the pool because that is the only way we can go outside and not just about pass out from heat exhaustion. I LOVE summer, but I am ready for fall! Or at least a little bit of cooler weather. I try not to complain about it because I know it could be much, much worse!

While we were out there I noticed that not only does Connor act bigger, but he just looks bigger. I think he has gotten taller recently!
They really do grow so quickly. In fact, as school is starting here I am telling myself to enjoy every single day that I still have this sweet boy at home because I'm going to turn around and it is going to be my turn to take him to school!


He is starting MDO this September and I am already wondering if I jumped the gun on sending him. Not for him, but for me! ha! I know he will love it, but I am going to miss him like crazy! I know as soon as I hear how well he is doing and see him interacting with the other kids, I will feel better.

Until then, I am just going to smother that little man in kisses...and order him a cute backpack of course! We all know a cute backpack will make me feel better! ;)
