I had the best day today! We had decided that Easter Sunday would be our first Sunday to go back to church and I was SO excited about going back. I had missed going! We were a little nervous because he has had a hard week of gas problems, but he did great! We kept him in his carseat at first and that lasted about 20 minutes until he wanted to be held by his momma :) I obviously don't like it when he cries, but I LOVE being able to soothe him.
Our church had someone dress up as the Easter Bunny for pictures, so we jumped in line pretty early to get that. He looks like he is crying in this picture, but he isn't. Just trying to eat his hand :)

The Easter bunny definitely stopped by our house! We got him the basket on the left full of books and rattles. Mimi (my mom) got him a little church backpack full of some great books. I can't wait to use that adorable backpack!**
I have to brag on myself... not only did we get to church on time, but we were EARLY! This is only our second time to be early to church in 2 years, so for that I pat myself on the back! Hopefully, that will become the norm! I really love our church and love that we are raising our child in this church family. My biggest hope (or one of them! ha) for Connor is that he makes some great church friends that he will have forever. There have been a lot of babies born recently, so I look forward to seeing who he grows close to!

he is so sweet! i'm sorry we missed getting to see yall this time but it was a busy weekend for everybody. next time maybe we can work it out when there's not so much going on. the Easter Bunny left something for him at Layla's too, :) love to all of you, nett
