Rain, Rain Go Away

We woke up this morning to see that the beautiful weather we had been having was gone. At first we were a little mad. Like this: Then we decided to just take advantage of it and take a nap. Like this:

But we can't wait to go back to the park and go on another walk! We went Friday and it was GORGEOUS outside. It was so good to the soul to be out in the sunshine. I can't say that Connor was crazy about being in the sunlight. He would make a horrible face everytime the sun hit him. So what did his parents do? Made sure that one of us was walking beside the stroller in the perfect spot to shade his face. Wrapped around his finger, I tell ya!
His jacket might be a little big on him, but I wanted to make sure he didn't get cold.

It felt so good to get out and walk. I can't wait to get the "go ahead" to start exercising. Jillian Michaels may kick my butt, but I am ready for it! I just want to be able to put my wedding ring back on and not wear a shirt that cinches or ties at my upper midsection! Which is why I am not going to eat any more of that wonderful Peanut Butter Pie that is sitting in my freezer..... ;)
