A Queen among Kings

We celebrated Christmas with Matt's mom's side of the family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We started off at Pam's house (MIL) on Christmas Eve. I'll go ahead and give you a little peek into her home and show you all of her Christmas trees.

These are the trees that you see when you walk into the front door.

I actually took these pictures before we opened presents, and how I wish I would have waited BECAUSE...

we got this new camera! It is so funny how Matt has become the ultimate photographer. You know that when he uses the word "smeyes" He has watched way too much America's Next Top Model! I also got a new vacuum cleaner. Pam was not excited about getting this for me (she felt like it was an awful gift), but I was VERY excited about receiving it! When it comes to vacuuming, I am like Monica from FRIENDS. I want it to be good and then I also want a smaller one to clean my big one.. haha. I'm a little OCD when it comes to my vacuum cleaners! It is a Eureka Optima. It is very small (another positive since we are lacking in storage around here) and it is very cheap! Matt, of course, got all the PS3 goodies. I really don't mind him playing because I just sit back there with him and read :) Another thing I got that I thought I would share is this:

the largest container of Chocolate Covered Raisins in the world! I hope for my sake that this takes me months and months to finish! (Oh, and I took this picture with my new camera! Isn't it great?!)

Christmas morning we went to Nana's house (Matt's grandma) and had a Christmas breakfast. It is always soooo good and there is always so much food! I really have to start taking a picture of all the food she makes! We took a ton of pictures, but instead of uploading all of them, I want to put a picture of Matt's sweet great grandmother. She will be 100 in February and she is just so precious. Once Connor gets here we are going to have to go get a generation picture with her so we can get a picture of 4 generations!

The cutest thing that happened that day was when she decided it was her turn to open her presents and she just started opening them! We always start youngest to oldest, but she wasn't having it! So cute!
