Dog and Baby lovers BEWARE! Precious photos ahead :)

Dogs and Babies. Two of my favorite things in the world. They are sweet, innocent (well sometimes ;) ) and love unconditionally. Isn't it awesome to know that God loves us like that as well? Praise the Lord, because I would be in trouble otherwise!
In the past two years Snuggles has, without a doubt, claimed the throne at 122 Barton Brook Lane. She is pretty much allowed to do whatever she wants and she KNOWS it. She does has a weakness for men, and will do just about anything for Matt's attention. She also has him wrapped around her paw :). If this is any inclination on how he will be if we have a girl... well, we will be in trouble!
Pretty in Pink :)

She has gotten extremely brave at doing things she knows she isn't supposed to. And...This is why! We photograph everything she does, which is not quite punishment!

I came home one day to see this. Her treats were on the shelf where the towels are. Notice that the ziploc bag(holding separate bag of treats)is still intact, but one lone yellow bag of treats is amazingly out of the ziploc bag. Two things. 1) How did she get that ziploc bag off of that shelf? 2) How did she get that one bag out of the ziploc bag without opening it? AMAZING I tell you :)This is her "Leave me alone" look

I was joking around with Snuggles this afternoon and we came up with a new trick. Get ready to laugh :)

Now, on to the Baby part :). I cannot believe that sweet Layla is going to be 11 months old this Friday. It seems like yesterday that she was born. She absolutely makes my heart smile and I have loved watching her become more active, and boy is she! I went to hang out with Rach last week and I think the only time Layla sat still was to eat! She is so funny! One of the things (out of many) that Matt and I have loved about Layla since she was a baby was how she will look at you so intently for about the first 5 minutes of you being at their house. You can just see the questions swarming in her head! I absolutely cannot wait until she can talk because I have a feeling she is going to have a lot to say. All absolutely adorable, I'm sure. Here are some pictures from our play date.

She is such a big girl standing up and moving around!

I love how her little nose crinkles when she smiles!

She wanted down to get my keys, which I mistakenly gave her to play with so she would sit still for the picture. Then she wouldn't look at the camera, so I put them on the ground. Haha.. I know, I know :)
Agh! Precious!

I'm not sure if I will be able to post before I leave, so I wanted to ask everyone to pray for me and the team from College Hills as we leave Friday morning (at 3 AM) to go to Honduras. There are no words to describe my excitement, and feel so blessed that I am able to go on this trip. I can't wait to come back and share it will ya'll. Until then...
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139: 23-24
